The fourth meeting of the Food Banks of Greece will take place in Athens with the participation of FEBA (Federation of Food Banks of Europe)
The meeting will take place on Monday and Tuesday 4 & 5 November 2024, while the President of the Ladies’ Union of Drama-H.O.H., Aliki Tsiamoura, will represent Drama.
During the two-day event, there will be time to discuss new goals and practices for the development of the Banks in the midst of the food crisis and food waste. In this context, the Food Bank of our institution will present the actions and practices that it implements in order to strengthen the Bank with long-lasting food and personal hygiene products.
In addition, the social impact study of the Athens Food Bank will be of great importance for the exchange of ideas and good practices, while the new director of FEBA will be present at this conference, as well as a representative of the Global FoodBanking Network (GFN), giving the opportunity for discussion, questions and general requests of the Banks.
