The Food Bank of Drama of the Ladies' Union of Drama - H.O.H. starts a new action entitled:
"THE CHILDREN - AMBASSADORS OF THE FOOD BANK OF DRAMA".

Specifically, on Monday May 26th 2025, the Food Bank of Drama and the Prosotsani High School will sign a cooperation agreement in which the students of the High School will be appointed as ambassadors of the Food Bank of Drama. This new action, titled "THE CHILDREN - FOOD BANK TRAIT TRAIT ENVOYS OF DRAMA", aims to promote the message of fighting hunger and food waste that dominates today's social life. It also aims, together with the actions "CHILDREN PROVIDE LOVE" and "STUDENTS GET TO KNOW THE FOOD BANK OF DRAMA", to raise awareness and mobilize children aged 5-18 years old regarding the primary objectives of the Food Bank.

For the first time, a school in our prefecture cooperates with the Food Bank of Drama in actions related to its work. Groups of the school unit will be in contact with various local establishments and civil society organizations in order to promote and support the missions of the Food Bank of Drama in terms of collecting and combating food waste and raising public awareness for vulnerable social groups and their food needs.

The Food Bank of Drama
The Food Bank of Drama is the 4th nationwide Food Bank, which was founded by the Ladies' Union of Drama - Open Hospitality House, in October 2019. It is a member of the European Federation of Food Banks (FEBA) and its primary purpose is to fight hunger and food waste, covering the food needs of 2016 beneficiaries on a daily and monthly basis.
