On Wednesday, 2 September at 19:00, at Justinian Park, the series of musical events entitled “The Neighbourhoods Sing” will begin.
The initiative is implemented by the Regional Unit of Drama, in cooperation with the Ladies Union of Drama – H.O.H., and forms part of the “Information and Awareness-Raising Plan on Social Welfare Issues.”
The initiative aims to reduce feelings of loneliness in everyday life, encourage active participation, strengthen bonds within local neighbourhoods, and promote social interaction through the power of music.
Music has the ability to influence, improve and regulate our mood. It can support adolescents in managing and expressing their emotions, while also offering older people a meaningful and enjoyable means of expression, communication and social connection.
Following the opening event at Justinian Park, the next event will take place on Wednesday, 9 September, at Ortakiou Square.
Admission is free and open to the public.
