The educational workshop of the project “TIME TO TALK II” was held with great success on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the 2nd Vocational School of Drama, with the participation of 76 first-year students.
The main objective of the activity was to inform and raise awareness among adolescents about contemporary forms of gender-based violence, to recognize warning signs, and to strengthen their ability to adopt attitudes and behaviors of respect, equality, and zero tolerance towards any form of discrimination and abuse. Through open dialogue and experiential interventions, a climate of trust and active participation was cultivated. Of particular interest was the interaction with the online game “Change the Plot. Be a Gender Hero!” was particularly interesting, through which students were exposed to realistic scenarios of everyday situations and were asked to identify instances of discrimination or abuse and explore ways of responding responsibly and supportively.
The next action of the project, which will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2026, at the 2nd Vocational School of Drama with the participation of 10th grade students, continuing the effort to inform, prevent, and cultivate a culture of equality and respect in the school environment. Through targeted and experiential educational interventions, the project “TIME TO TALK II” project contributes significantly to strengthening the student community and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, free from discrimination and gender-based violence.
The project “TIME TO TALK II” is implemented within the framework of the Operational Program “Eastern Macedonia – Thrace 2021-2027,” under the priority “Social Inclusion and Combating Poverty (ESF+),” is co-financed by the European Social Fund and is part of the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy of the Municipality of Drama.
