At PAVLIDIS S.A. MARBLES–GRANITES and the 4th General Lyceum of Drama
The “TIME TO TALK II” project continues its awareness-raising and prevention activities aimed at combating gender-based violence.
More specifically, on Monday, October 12, an educational and awareness-raising seminar was held for administrative staff of PAVLIDIS S.A. MARBLES–GRANITES at the company's premises.
The seminar was conducted by Sevasti Chatzifotiou, the project's Scientific Coordinator and Dean at Democritus University of Thrace, together with members of the “TIME TO TALK II” project team.
Thirty employees from various administrative positions, including the company's CEO, attended the educational presentation. The seminar focused on identifying different forms of violence occurring in abusive relationships across various social settings, as well as the actions that individuals and organizations can take to address and prevent such violence.
On Tuesday, October 13, the “TIME TO TALK II” project team conducted an educational seminar at the 4th General Lyceum of Drama, attended by first- and second-year upper secondary school students.
The seminar addressed emerging forms of gender-based violence, the important role that bystanders can play when witnessing incidents of violence, and the organizations and support services individuals can turn to for assistance.
At the end of the presentation, students completed feedback questionnaires and participated in the interactive digital game “Change The Plot – Be a Gender Hero.”
The project “DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIONS FOR THE PREVENTION AND COMBATING OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE – TIME TO TALK II” is implemented within the framework of the “Eastern Macedonia – Thrace 2021–2027” Programme, under the priority “Social Inclusion and Combating Poverty (ESF+).”
The operation is co-funded by the European Social Fund and forms part of the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy of the Municipality of Drama.
