On Monday 23 September 2024 at 19:30, at Stenimachou Square, the Regional Unit of Drama and the Ladies’ Union of Drama will organize the first of three events, titled “The Neighbourhoods Sing”.
The events, which are part of the action under the general title “Information and awareness project for the population on social care issues”, have a special thematic title “Neighbourhoods Sing”, and are enriched by sounds of Greek art music, seeking the participation of the population in awareness and social care actions and the reduction of the feeling of loneliness in everyday life.
In particular, music can change, maintain and improve a person’s mood, while listening to it helps to regulate mood, relaxation and self-management of emotions. Music also helps adolescents to manage their emotions, while at the same time, it is a pleasant way for people of the Third Age to express their feelings and reduce the loneliness they feel.
The event will be accompanied by the musical group “The Three Musketeers” with favourite art songs. The next event will take place on 2 October in Justinian’s Park, and the whole project will conclude on 9 October in Ortaki Square. All events are free of charge.
