On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., at Justinian Square in Drama, the REGIONAL UNIT OF DRAMA and the Ladies' Union of Drama –H.O.H will host the first of three events entitled "The Neighborhoods Sing."

The events, which are part of the initiative entitled "Plan to inform and raise awareness among the population on social welfare issues," have a specific theme "The Neighborhoods Sing", and are enriched by the sounds of Greek art music, seeking to encourage the population to participate in awareness-raising and social welfare activities and to reduce feelings of loneliness in their daily lives.

In particular, music can change, maintain, and improve a person's mood, while listening to it helps regulate mood, relaxation, and self-management of emotions. Music also helps adolescents manage their emotions, while at the same time providing a pleasant way for elderly people to express their feelings and reduce the loneliness they feel.

The event will be accompanied by the band “The Three Guardians of Music” performing beloved songs. Then, on September 10, the next event in the series will take place in Ortaki Square, while the entire action plan will be completed on September 24 in Stenimachou Square. All events are free of charge.
