The “Prevent and Support Cyber Gender Based Violence” project has completed its journey…The closing ceremony on April 3 was successfully completed

The closing ceremony of the “Prevent and Support Cyber Gender Based Violence” program, implemented by the Ladies’ Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality (HOH) within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2, was held with great success.

The closing ceremony took place in the LUD-HOH building, while all the results of the project were presented, such as its website, the map of good practices and the handbooks for young people and for victim management agencies, regarding the prevention and fight against cyberbullying. In this particular event, we had the pleasure and honor of hosting the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Ms. Sevasti Chatzifotiou, who informed the public about the dangers and challenges inherent in the internet, presenting all the deliverables of the project.

The event was attended by over 150 people, including students, official guest secondary school teachers and young people. With the presentation of the project, they had the opportunity to browse the website, but also to discuss with Ms. Chatzifotiou and the President of LUD-HOH, Aliki Tsiamoura, while also enjoying the excellent dishes of the buffet.

The “PSCGBV” project started in April 2022 and had duration of 24 months. It aims to educate the staff of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – HOH, but also civil society actors about gender-based violence in cyberspace.

The “PSCGBV” project is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 program, with the implementing body of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality. In addition, agencies from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Cyprus participate in the program. The program aims to strengthen and optimize the sustainability of civil society, as well to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens’ participation in society, and defending human rights. The Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation has taken over the management of the grant of the program in Greece.
