The free lessons will start on Tuesday 24 September in the atrium of the Open Hospitality House. They will take place every Tuesday and will be supported by professional photographers and the programme will be curated by an art historian. The participants are all beneficiaries of the Care for the Elderly program and other programs of the Ladies’ Association.
“Narrate Your Story” is a specialized photography learning program designed to empower older participants to tell their unique stories through the art of photography. This workshop recognizes the richness of life experiences and perspectives available to seniors and aims to provide them with the tools and platform to express themselves creatively. The goals of the program are empowerment through storytelling, skill development, social connection, creative expression, and legacy building.
The programme will conclude with a photographic exhibition by the participants.
The programme is implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
