On Wednesday, 9 September at 12:00 noon, the Ladies Union of Drama – H.O.H. will hold an initiative to distribute school supplies to vulnerable families supported by the organisation, at its premises.
The school supplies will be distributed to children attending kindergarten, primary, lower secondary and upper secondary school, whose families are in need of support. Each school bag will contain notebooks, drawing pads, markers, colouring supplies, pencils, sharpeners, pens, a school backpack and many other essential items, ensuring that children have the necessary supplies for the new school year.
The initiative is made possible with the valuable support of sponsors, including the “Ioannidis Kostas” and “Manifesto” bookstores, Public stores and AB Vassilopoulos stores. As longstanding supporters of the organisation's multifaceted work, they consistently respond to its initiatives and requests for assistance.
In her message, President Giota Tsiamoura stated:
“Guided by a strong sense of solidarity and selfless giving, we are here to provide tangible support to families in Drama. Our goal is to ensure that when schools open on Friday, every child has the essential supplies they need. We wish all students a wonderful and successful school year.”
