In a pleasant and warm atmosphere, forty first-year students from our city's universities, together with their professors, participated in the Welcome Table hosted by the President and Board of Directors of the Ladies' Union of Drama - HOH.
Specifically, last Tuesday, students and professors from the University Departments of Forestry and Natural Environment and Agricultural Biotechnology and Oenology of Drama filled the atrium of the House of Open Hospitality, where a large table had been set with various dishes. After President Aliki Tsiamoura welcomed them, a connection was immediately made with Athens, where Danae Bezantakou, founder of the Young Executives Shipping (YES) Forum, a platform for open dialogue between students, executives, students, and young people interested in various fields of entrepreneurship, with a focus on shipping, informed them about the many opportunities that Greek shipping offers young people, providing high salaries.
Mrs. Tsiamoura then presented the history and objectives of the organization, its programs, and how students themselves can contribute on a voluntary basis. The "Getting to Know Each Other" event was held as a welcome and introduction to the first-year students.
