On the initiative of the Benaki Museum, on Tuesday, September 23, at 10:30 a.m., in the atrium of the House of Open Hospitality at the L adies Union of Drama -H.O.H., an interactive online educational program for seniors will be held. The program, titled "Time for the Museum," is being implemented for the first time in Drama on the occasion of World Alzheimer's Month, which is September.

During the live online tour, which will be attended by beneficiaries of the organization with memory difficulties or early dementia, museum objects related to key components of the Mediterranean diet, proven to be beneficial for mental health, will be highlighted. Engravings and travel texts will narrate the customs of eating during the Ottoman period, and then agricultural tools will represent the traditional crops of the early 20th century. The online visit will be enriched with rare photographs of rural life, evoking memories from the personal experiences of the participants.
