The Ladies' Union of Drama-HOH., in collaboration with the Municipality of Paranesti and the Municipality of Doxato, is organizing a photography exhibition entitled "Capturing Reality."
The exhibition will open on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Community Center of Doxato, and will close on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., with the contribution of the Adrianis Educational and Cultural Association, in the multipurpose hall of the Adrianis Community of the Municipality of Paranesti.
The exhibition, which is under the auspices and funding of the Ministry of Culture, is being implemented as part of a program that aims to empower the residents of the remote areas of the Prefecture of Drama through art. It will remain open to the public in Doxato from December 10 to 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and in Adriani from December 13 to 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 20:00.
The photographs in the exhibition are creative works by the participants in the program. Under the guidance of photographer Myrsini Tzimou, they captured moments of everyday life and elements of the cultural identity of their communities, creating a collective visual narrative that highlights the authentic reality and creative perspective of the residents of the Prefecture of Drama.
The program was designed and implemented by the Ladies Union of Drama – HOH, with the artistic curation of art historian Vicky Konstantinidou.
