Presentation of the photography exhibition “Narrate your Story” By the Ladies’ Union of Drama – H.O.H. and the Archaeological Museum

The presentation of the photography exhibition entitled: “Narrate your story”, organized by the Ladies’ Union of Drama – Open Hospitality House and the Archaeological Museum.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Sunday 1 December, at 18.30 pm, at the Archaeological Museum of Drama. The exhibition includes 28 photographic works, the authors of which are beneficiaries of the “Care for the Third Age” programme, as well as other programmes of the Ladies’ Union of Drama, who participated in the accelerated workshop. Participation in the courses of the programme was free of charge, the coordination and curation of the programme was undertaken by the Art Historian Mrs. Vicky Konstantinidou. As part of the exhibition, each participant will present two photographic works, where they will capture their own personal narrative. The “narrate your story” program, is a specialized photography learning program designed to empower older participants to tell their unique stories through the art of photography. This workshop recognizes the richness of life experiences and perspectives available to seniors and aims to provide them with the tools and platform to express themselves creatively. The goals of the program are empowerment through storytelling, skill development, social connection, creative expression, and legacy building.
The participants of the photography workshop who will present their works are the following: Venetaki Dimitra, Dadarou Eleni, Dumanidou Dora, Eugenidou Sofia, Kalaitzidou Eleftheria, Karaiktopoulou Christina, Mavridis Simeon, Muropoulou Irini, Bonia Panagiota, Moysiadou Eleni, Samouti Haroula, Shepetzi Eleni, Fotoglou Maria and Hadjiemmanouil Nikolaos.
It is worth noting that the exhibition after December 4 will be moved to the Home of the Ladies’ Union of Drama in Oniroupoli so that visitors will have the opportunity to visit it. The exhibition will run from 1 to 4 December, operating daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except for Tuesday, when it will be open from 12.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The programme, is under the auspices and funding of the Ministry of Culture.
