On December 1 at 2 p.m., the president, the board of directors, employees, volunteers, and the children of the Prosotsani High School, who are Ambassadors of the Drama Food Bank, will welcome the Olympic flame.
Forming a human chain on Venizelos Street from the Eleftheria café to the Open Hospitality House, young and old alike, holding Greek and Olympic flags, will participate in the celebration to welcome the Olympic flame. President Aliki Tsiamoura emphasized: "December 1 is an important day for our city. We will all be there with pride and enthusiasm to welcome the Olympic flame, a symbol of peace, unity, and hope. From early in the morning until late at night, there will be a lit lantern at the entrance to our House, symbolizing our hospitality and offering." In closing, she pointed out that the passage of the Olympic Flame through Drama is a special moment of honor and global exposure for the city, while calling on all citizens to participate in the human chain of the Women's Union.
The Olympic flame will pass through Drama as part of its journey to the 25th Winter Olympic Games in Milan.
