Television Spot of the “POWERFUL VOICE” Programme

As part of the “POWERFUL VOICE” programme, the Ladies Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality, in collaboration with the 1st Vocational High School of Drama and the European Parliament Ambassadors, created an informative social awareness video aimed at raising public awareness of human rights, European values, and active civic participation.
The video features students from the 1st Vocational High School of Drama, who highlight the importance of knowledge and the protection of fundamental rights, while emphasizing the role of active citizenship in addressing contemporary social challenges and promoting the values of democracy, equality, and respect for human dignity.
The action is part of the interventions implemented within the “POWERFUL VOICE” programme, which aims to inform, educate, and raise awareness among citizens regarding European Union values, gender equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence.

The “POWERFUL VOICE” programme, with a duration of 14 months and funded by ActionAid and the European Union, aims to inform, educate, and raise awareness among women and men aged 13–60 living in remote areas of the Municipality of Drama Regional Unit (Prosotsani, Paranesti, Nevrokopi, and Doxato) on issues related to European Union values, gender equality, and the recognition of different forms of gender-based violence.
The “POWERFUL VOICE” project is implemented within the framework of the programme “POWER – Promoting Organizations' empoWErment to guarantee women’s human rights and stop gender-based violence”, coordinated by WeWorld (WW), in partnership with ActionAid Hellas (AAH) and Asociación Bienestar y Desarrollo (ABD).
