On Friday 21 March 2025, 41 students of Kyrgia Primary School were informed about the work of the Food Bank of Drama. The students attended a presentation and then played an interactive quiz applying what they learned from their visit to our institution. At the same time, they asked questions and were interested in the work of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – H.O.H. and wish to participate in future food collection activities.

In addition, on Monday, March 31, 2025, the Food Bank of Drama will host 30 students from Prosotsani High School so that they can experience the work of the Food Bank of Drama, distributing food, bread and pastries. Through these distributions, they will achieve awareness and knowledge about food waste and the needs of our fellow human beings, which are increasing in our social environment.

At the end of the action, a souvenir relevant to the subject matter attended is sent as a deliverable from the students to our institution. The purpose of this action is the experiential approach to the objectives of the Food Bank of Drama concerning the fight against hunger and food waste.
