The third distribution of voucher cheques to fifty beneficiaries of the “Care for the Third Age IV” programme took place today.
In particular, the beneficiaries came to the offices of the institution. The distribution was attended by the volunteer of the organization and educator Eleni Smoloktou, who presented the topic “Summer holidays and relationship with grandchildren” where summer activities concerning the relationship of the beneficiaries with their grandchildren were discussed. Beneficiaries talked about their own grandchildren and the sweet memories they have of past summers and conversations.
The “Care for the Elderly IV” program involves the monthly provision of vouchers for the purchase of food and basic necessities to seniors over sixty years of age and the organization of talks in the context of the distribution on topics related to the elderly. It is financed entirely by the TIMA Public Benefit Foundation.
At the same time, all 13 vouchers were given to an equal number of elderly beneficiaries under the “Love for the Third Age” programme funded by the Anthony and John Angelikosis Foundation.
