The Gender Equality Committee of the Municipality of Drama, following the proposal of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality , co-organize together with the Regional Unit of Drama, the Department of Secondary Education / 1st EPAL of Drama, the Municipalities of Prosotsani and K. Nevrokopi, the Chamber of Commerce of Drama, the Commercial Association of Drama, Europe Direct and the European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS), an event in celebration of International Women’s Day, on 8 March at 7 pm at the Municipal Auditorium of Drama.
The event titled “Women Innovating by Entrepreneurship & Creating the Future” includes a mini TEDx by eight women who have excelled in their field and decided to return back to Drama and who will speak and motivate, with their knowledge, other women to develop a professional activity. The event will be moderated by Stella Andriopoulou with the support of students of the 1st EPAL of Drama.
The aim of all the co-organisers is to honour the contribution of women to society and to highlight the importance of equality and progress. Because a woman’s strength is measured by the light she spreads around her.
