The concert “A Walk in Greece No 7” by the Ladies’ Union of Drama-House of Open Hospitality took place for the seventh consecutive year at the packed theatre “Socrates Dimitriadis” in Santa Barbara.

On Monday 4 July at 8.30 in the evening, a large number of people honoured the event with their presence, which as every year is part of the framework of Liberia 2023. The mixed traditional choir of the Ladies Union of Drama-House of Open Hospitality under the artistic direction of Eleftherios Kallinikidis enchanted the audience by performing songs from all corners of Greece and the musical direction of the Dramian traditional orchestra “Katife”. In a setting that “smelled” of Greece, melodies from the islands, mainland Greece and Pontus were heard with an audience applauding and accompanying the choirs with singing. In her greeting, the president, Aliki Tsiamoura, thanked the audience for responding positively to every invitation, made a brief reference to the multifaceted work of the organization, giving more importance to the House of Open Hospitality and cultural activities.

The event was honoured with the presence of the political and state authorities of the County of Drama and was concluded with commemorative gifts received by the choirs.
