After the successful closing workshop of the “TIME TO LEARN” project and the one-month extension, it is time for our internal evaluation.
The “TIME TO LEARN” team after the completion of the field interventions started the internal evaluation process with a short mixed questionnaire, open and closed questions. The questionnaires are filled in in person by all the beneficiaries of the project. The aim of the action is for Roma women to evaluate the quality of the services and training material provided and on the another hand for the organisation to improve the quality and impact of the project.
The project “TIME TO LEARN” aimed to educate 30 Roma women living in the areas of Filippou and Ampelokipi of Drama, in human rights, the combating of anti-Gypsyism, the strengthening of the implementing body, the exchange of know-how and good practices with institutions in Greece and abroad, the preparation of a Human Rights Violation Report and its submission to the Ombudsman and the National Committee for Human Rights. An outstanding success of the project is that 5 of the 39 Roma women who participated in the project passed their exams and received a primary school diploma, while two of them are continuing at the evening, adult High School.
The “TIME TO LEARN” programme was extended by one month in order to carry out an internal evaluation that will help the organisation to optimise its objectives in the next programmes.
