The 10th workshop of the "POWERFUL VOICE" program was held with the participation of 67 students and teachers
The Ladies' Union of Drama - ΗΟΗ held the 10th educational workshop of the "POWERFUL VOICE" program.
On Friday, February 13, 2026, the Ladies' Union of Drama - ΗΟΗ held the 10th educational workshop of the "POWERFUL VOICE" program, with the participation of 67 students and teachers, at a school in the Municipality of Prosotsani. The workshop took place at the Prosotsani Secondary School and was aimed at secondary school students and teachers. The topics covered in the educational workshop concerned human rights based on the Charter of Children's Rights, established by the UN, and the 17 sustainable development goals, with a focus on gender equality and education. The students actively participated in the presentation, with particular emphasis on children's privacy, boundaries, and the protection of personal data on the internet.
The 14-month “POWERFUL VOICE” program, funded by Action Aid and the European Union, aims to inform, educate, and raise awareness among men and women (aged 13-60) living in remote areas of the municipalities of the Prefecture of Drama (Prosotsani, Paranesti, Neurkopi, Doxato) on issues related to the values of the European Union, gender equality, and the recognition of forms of gender-based violence.
The ” POWERFUL VOICE ” project is implemented within the framework of the “POWER – Promoting Organizations’ empoWErment to guarantee women’s human rights and stop gender-based violence” program, which is coordinated by WeWorld (WW), in collaboration with Action Aid 12 Hellas (AAH) and the Asociación Bienestar y Desarrollo (ABD). POWER is co-funded by the European Union through the “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” program (CERV – 2023 – DAPHNE).
